Not a native speaker speaks bad German? Ae you serious? I’ll let one of my lyrics speak for me!
Just a desk

Silent day. Quiet day. Your child is asleep. Your husband is not there. Oh baby! You came. I’m really happy to see you again. How nice it is to feel your closeness. Come. Come. Sit down. Drink a cup of tea and stay with me. I missed you so much! Even though I’m made of wood and metal, I have a heart. And it’s yours. How long have we not been together? I’ve already started counting hours – no-minutes and seconds. How cruel you are sometimes! Why are you leaving me here alone?! Oh baby! Forgive me my tears! I know a table can’t cry, but I haven’t seen you for as long! I missed you so much! But you’re back, my mistress! I don’t know anyone around the world who could separate us. Do you remember the old days? To the day of our first meeting? That was love at first sight. You had such joy when you saw me. You liked my width and length. “Big, massive and stable!” -You said. “This table looks like it was made for me,”-whispered you. You were very excited that you would get more space for your mess from books, paper sheets, wallets and notebooks. Oh, darling, I know you very well! I know how you feel when you sit at me for hours, tap, and type, and type, and then suddenly stop, and make a sinister face. Just at this moment, I know this, believe me, you are torn by doubt and fear. “Fear? What’s going on? ‘ -You ask me. “Fear of the public,”-I reply. My darling, you are afraid of the review, of the criticism of your texts by others. Yes, I understand you very well. When I was standing in the store for sale at the time, a lot of people came over and occasionally cast disparaging glances at me. I was uncomfortable with that. Still, I was there. I couldn’t walk away. I’m just a table. And then what did I do? I changed my view to critical assessments of others. “A lot of people – a lot of opinions,”-that’s how I tell you. My darling, please listen to your old work table. You can’t influence reviews from others. But you can change your perception of an assessment. Group trier you on your motivation to write, to be “read” on your need. In the end, it doesn’t matter what the audience says. The main thing is that you get feedback that will probably help you improve your lyrics. Come. Don’t be afraid. Sit down. Drink a cup of tea and let’s work together. Tip-tip-tip-tiptiptip tip … Silent day. Quiet day. Your child is asleep. And you type.
